Inaugural Harry's House Charity Ball

The inaugural Harry's House Charity Ball sponsored by Pacific National held on Saturday evening at Fort Scratchley raised $16,400 for Harry's House. The Clan McEwan Pipe Band and Lara Tollard's School of Highland Dance started off the evening and Acoustic Moose entertained the night away. MC Mike Rabbitt from NBN News was so professional and respectful in his interview of Heidi & Nigel Moore of Singleton about their journey with childhood cancer and their experience with Harry's House. Thanks to everyone that attended for such a great night and a big thank you to Helen & Terry Cousin from Stockton for organising the event.

Next year's ball will be even bigger and better!

Run Newcastle for Harry's House

The Cotton On Foundation has chosen Harry's House as one of three select charities for Run Newcastle. You can raise money for Harry's House by setting up a supporters page or donating to a friend on the Run Newcastle website  http://www.runnewcastle.com.au/donate 

Run Newcastle is on Sunday 10th November on Newcastle Foreshore with a 12km run and 6km run/walk. 100% of all registrations will go towards the redevelopment of the Adolescent Ward at John Hunter Children’s Hospital.

Thank You Newcastle Perm Charitable Foundation

The Harry Meyn Foundation has received a very generous donation of $12,000 from the Newcastle Perm Charitable Foundation. The money will be used to install interactive play equipment at Harry's House.

Harry's House Yellow Pages Cover

Sam Meyn from Harry Meyn Foundation is on the cover of the 2013/2014 Yellow Pages for the Hunter. The Foundation is thrilled to be recognised for its work in the community.

Harry's House Charity Shield

The 3rd annual Harry's House Charity Shield Rugby League/Rugby Union match held at Lynn Oval, Stockton on Saturday 11th May was another great success. The event raised $10,000 for Harry's House but more importantly raised awareness in the community about Harry's House and the help that families of children living with cancer need from the wider community.
