Deb's Marathon Challenge for Harry's House

Debbie Lea a neighbour of Sam & Dave Meyn has set a personal challenge to complete her first 42km marathon run at the age of 51 to raise money for Harry's House. Deb is hard training for the event 'The Canberra Marathon' which will be held in April.

Harry's House Charity Shield

The 3rd annual Harry's House Charity Shield Rugby League/Rugby Union match will be held at Lynn Oval, Stockton on Saturday 11th May 2013 commencing at 1pm.

This wonderful day includes a Scottish Pipe Band, aerobatic display, jumping castles, Junior Rugby League, food & refreshments along with raffle's and give aways.

The game is played in good spirit by ex-Internationals from the Newcastle, Sydney and Queensland regions plus some Stockton legends and want-a-be's from the Meyn Family.

Government Recognition of the Harry Meyn Foundation

NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell recognised the work of the Harry Meyn Foundation by awarding Samantha & David Meyn a Community Service Award. The award was presented by Maitland MP Robyn Parker and recognises the support of the community of Maitland and The Hunter in establishing Harry's House to assist families of children living with cancer.

Sam Nominated for NSW Local Woman of the Year!

Samantha Meyn has been nominated by the local Member of Parliament for a 2013 NSW Local Woman of the Year Award. The 2013 Women of the Year Awards provides the NSW community with the opportunity to nominate a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to her local community. Golf Day a Huge Success

The Harry Meyn Memorial Charity Golf Day for 2012 was held at East Maitland Golf Club on Friday 26th October raising just over $40,000 for Harry's House.

The Harry Meyn Foundation would like to thank the Rutherford Group for being the major sponsor of this years event, hole sponsors, players and many generous companies and individuals that donated prizes, assisted with the event or helped out in some way. Thanks very much.
