Team Jacob Raises $31,000 for Harry's House

"Team Jacob" presented the Harry Meyn Foundation with a cheque for $31,000. 11 year old Jacob Moore of Singleton, his parents Nigel & Heidi, younger sister Hannah, aunty Felicity, friends and family raised the amazing amount of money through sponsorship and fundraising events by completing the 10km event at the Hill to Harbour Fun Run. The Moore's have stayed at Harry's House and wanted to raise the money to support the Harry Meyn Foundation so that other families could experience Harry's House.

Amazing Deb!

Debbie Lea smashed the Canberra Marathon in 4 hours and 40 minutes and raised a staggering $8,500 for Harry's House. Deb you are an amazing person and a very special friend, you make us so proud. Thanks to everyone that supported Deb and her fundraising efforts.

Sam Awarded Steel Magnolia for 2013

Samantha Meyn received the Steel Magnolia Award for 2013 at the awards ceremony on Friday night. The award is in recognition of a woman who overcame adversity, who lifted herself up and who did something for others. In Sam's words "the award is also in recognition of family, friends and the wider community for their hardwork and support in establishing Harry's House in memory of Harry".

Thumbs Up for Harry's Paddle

Thumbs up to Pete Cox from 2UP SUP https://www.facebook.com/2upSup and all who supported or participated in the Harry's Paddle Stand Up Paddle Board event held in Stockton on Saturday. The weather was perfect, the harbour was flat, the community spirit was high and all in all it was a great day and heaps of money was raised for Harry's House.

This event will be back even bigger and better next year, stay tuned!!

Sam Awarded NSW Local Woman of the Year!

Sam Meyn has been awarded the NSW Local Woman of the Year for the Maitland Electorate. Sam will receive her award from the Premier of NSW Barry O'Farrell and the Minister for Woman Prue Goward during a ceremony at the NSW Parliament House on 7th March. Congratulations Sam and thank you to the wonderful people that support Harry's House and The Harry Meyn Foundation.
